Extended Home Maintenance Program

 

Buying a home is the biggest investment most people make in their lifetimes. The importance of maintaining your home on a regular basis is very comparable to maintaining your car. Dream Builders NW Extended Home Care Maintenance is dedicated to helping keep the many components of your home functioning smoothly and reducing problems that could possibly cause damage to your home. Left unchecked, a small maintenance issue could lead to expensive repairs in the future.

Our goal is to give your home the care and service needed on a scheduled basis to keep it at its best. The preventive maintenance list for your home is divided into seasonal checks:


Spring
These are just a few examples of what to expect during your spring check:
   -Tighten door hardware and lubricate hinges
   -Check refrigerator coil and clean
   - Flush hot water heater
   -Pour bleach in A/C condensate line
   -Check roof and gutters

Summer
These are just a few examples of what to expect during your summer check:
   -Check irrigation lines for cracked pipes
   -Check A/C drain pan
   -Change air filters
   -Check dryer vent
   -Check exterior finishes

Fall
These are just a few examples of what to expect during your fall check:
   -Check door sweeps
   -Clean dishwasher lines
   -Check water heater pressure valve
   -Check sinks, tubs, and showers for gaps in caulking
   -Check for positive drainage away from foundation

Winter
These are just a few examples of what to expect during your winter check:
   -Check supply and return registers
   -Check drywall and trim for settlement cracks
   -Check sink stoppers
   -Check for leaks


These checks cover items to the interior, as well as the exterior of your home. The reason for this is that certain components of your home need to be inspected for maintenance more often throughout the year than others.
